Then amidst the screaming, unfortunately, this part of the results wasn't so obvious. Which was quite a pity. But who cares man?? :D

That did it. I teared a little. But that couldn't express the amount of happiness and satisfaction I felt at that moment. Like how in the world could we ever get Gold With Honours?? I thought only that existed in our dreams O:
We wanted Gold. We were so desperate to get it (okay, only me). But we got an additional "honours" to spice it up!
Hahaha my description sounds weird. But it doesn't matter :D
All our hard work did not go to waste after all! :D :D :D
That's the best part.
No actually. The part when we finished Overture No. 1, there was actually a REBOUND. Yes, a rebound. Which made me smile. Hahahha seriously :D I think Jericho was much better than the day of the public concert.

FLUTES WERE IN TUNE!

When Ms Sia (I dunno why so random), suddenly asked only flutes section to tune alone, our Bb sounded as if only one person played!! :D :D But definitely at a louder volume lah hahahha yay! :D
After today's experiences, I have finally come to these conclusions:
1) I HEART SNSB! 2) I HEART FLUTES SECTION! 3) Waking up at 4.45am makes eye blacks go darker and much more prominent (heh, true what! :D)

Th greens, whites, and dark blues totally made history today! Our first Gold with Honours in a thousand silver centuries! Yeah!

I must work on my tone and long notesss. Urgh it's so bldy difficult to hold so long when your diaphragm hasn't even warmed up yet. How come now then I notice and why now then I get feedback.

This is such a surprise. Sandy went to the library today to check for me (thankies! :D) while I was having elit (suspense and tension) test. I was too nervous and excited to wait so I asked her to help me. Hahhahh YESSSSSSS I still can't get over it. I chionged all the way for the last two weeks. And even on the final week before the exam, I still couldn't get my scales memorised properly! O:

Band was weird (again) today. She said I was "horrible" again. Please lah, I was so airy /: The photo-taking was also weird. So many people came to take photos. I think like the entire Infocomm Club came down lah! And each and every one of them had their own camera D: And we were required to smile and play at the same time. Like how to do that? We don't play with our teeth showing D:
I keep thinking about SYF. It's only six more days. That's less than one week ): And I keep changing tone!
ABRSM is irritating. I want my results now urghhh. Everytime I log in and I click click click all the linking links, then the page takes awfully long to load...and finally I see a "No results published" in bold D: Hannah's gotten hers already. Why does mine take sooo sooo long?? ):

Went to watch "Race to Witch Mountain" with Sandy,Yu Qing and Audrey after Band Prac today. Audrey proved to be much much more reliable than I expected. The movie was quite nice though. Except for the fact that if the taxi driver did not follow the two alien kids, there would be no possibility for the show to go on. I mean, why he so kay po? Hahah :D
But it sure would be a much much better movie than "Dragonball" hahah (:

Band was weird. She kept repeating part "T", making me keep playing the wonderful ending again and again. I was super tired, yet still must hold 20 over counts. Haiyah, what to do. Must jian chi dao di! Only 5 more pracs till the actual one...! /:

...cum Class Gathering! :D
Not really class gathering though. I reached school at 7.50am when we were supposed to be there at 8.15am. Only May Shuen and Amanda to entertain me hahah. Then suddenly more and more people came. Then I realised that Diligence and Hope were coming with us too /:
I thought it was just gonna be us three faith peeps! Hahah :D But the more the merrier!
Okay okay.
The three hours supposedly spent to pick up rubbish along the beach were spent mostly taking photos (URGHH AMANDA), and singing Jericho.
YES JERICHO. (It's not a typo :D) "It must be the SYF fever...!" (quotes C___ ) Can you spell L-A-M-E? D:
Sandy and I paired up to pick rubbish. (I had to drag the darn rubbish bag most of the time) After spending ages trying to examine each corner for rubbish (east coast was surprisingly quite clean), we walked from one end of the shore to the other singing the beginning of Jericho.
Cos we were super tired. My back was aching, stomach grumbling, and we were sweating (it was super hot lah) So the beginning of Jericho totally fit the mood at that time. Cos like they were supposed to find a home but couldn't find one? Well we couldn't find food and shelter. BUT THERE WAS SAND. So that's the similarity hahah :D
We were quite in tune actually, to come to think of it...except that people kept staring hahah whooops! :D Then we switched to some National Day song. Hah how patriotic we are! :D
Oh THEN. Torture time came!
It started raining so we had to walk from one car park to another, which was quite far, while dragging our rubbish bags. Some of them broke. And some of us didn't have umbrellas, so they had to stay in the rain waiting for teachers to help them or something I dunno.
At first we were a big group of six, then Amanda, Chantel, and Megan decided that they should take a cab to Plaza Sing. Lynette, Genevieve and I jian chi dao di and decided that we should continue walking till we see Macs (then we laugh at them for taking cab)
We walked
and walked...
and walked...
And WALKED for an hour or so.
...but still no sign of Macs. (Meanwhile Lynette was planning to hijack the people on bicycles so we could reach Macs quicker)
So we gave up and tried to hire a taxi to J8, and back to (quotes Lynette) "CIVILISATION"
All in all, it was quite fun. Still I feel that today was something like a Survival of the Fittest or Amazing Race.
I walked till my legs are numb. And there's Band tmrw! In the morning! Yippee.

I think I'm going crazy.
It's been only three days after my flute exam and I'm constantly checking the ABRSM website to see if my results are out yet.
I check the computer about an average of three times each day D:
PLEASE LET ME GET A MERIT !
I'm crazy cos Ruei Ern and Ying Tong haven't even finished thier exams and yet I'm expecting my results to pop up online. I keep seeing "No results published"! It makes me sooo mad D:
Anyway, MARCH HOLIDAYS ARE HERE! And it's so boring lah. I'm actually looking forward to having Band Pracs. Without CCA pracs during the holidays, I think I'll just die of boredom at home /:
The whole world seems to be slowing down. Oh I think I know why. Flute exam's over and homework's not much of a mountain.

Omg it's finally O V E R !
Thank goodness me! The lump in my throat has finally gone away. I need not worry so much now! :D :D :D
Examiner was so friendly. Made me feel so happy hahah :D He looked like Santa Claus though hahah, but with a red face heh.
Scales were okay, except F# harmonic minor. He gave me so many scales, about six in total. Excluding arpeggios, dominant/diminished, chromatic etc. Lynette said A1 was really wonderful. But I thought it was just okay hahah. B was hmmm, okay, but not good enough. And C was just urgh /:
Sight-reading was supposed to be super easy. Bb major! That's what we do in combine! :D And no change in key signature or time signature! Absolutely distinction-possible! But thanks to my poor sight-reading skills, and slow tempo...):
Aural was wonderful. LOVED THE SINGING MAN. I heard all the songs before! I'm so gonna pass aural this time hahah! :D
All in all, it was a rather wonderful, happy exam. It made me wanna go again! Hahaha :D

The good thing is, my examiner isn't a flautist, nor does he play any wind instru! He's a SINGER! O: And I know his name! :D Oh and he's a coffee-lover...just like a certain thumb WHO MADE ME GO FOR THE DMN AUDITIONS WHICH TOTALLY RUINED MY SELF-ESTEEM.
URGHHHHHH I'M SO DUMB TO ACTUALLY TRUST THEM!

Ohmygoodness. As the title of this post says, today we prolly had the best band prac ever. Ever. In the entire history of band pracs. Seriously.
It started quite badly actually. Dumb Ann (hah :D) brought home the super cool new tuner and Ms __ was asking for it. I got scolded in the end. And when I called her to clarify where it was, she laughed and said she brought it home. Like what?? D:
Okay then we started warming-up and playing scales and stuff. She was in a quite good mood at that moment, but cannot take risks, so we were really playing our lungs out.
Then, the one-that-made-everything-so-happy came! She walked into the MPR 1 and was like smiling and smiling and smiling like nobody's business. Until Ms __ had to stop and we greeted her.
Words repeated: Good - more than 20 times (i was in shock, so couldn't count) Very good - 5 times?
I don't think I need to elaborate more. This is totally out of the ordinary. Since when the word "good" was in her vocabulary? O: Then she actually complimented the trumpets and trombones! O: O: I was super shocked. Then omg she dropped the bomb: She said I played very nice vibrato for the solo.
I could literally feel goosebumps on my arm!
What's with all the scarily-positive compliments! This is just...just...so weird! This is just wrong man! :D Where and when did she hear the vibrato?? My diaphragm didn't even jerk one bit O:
Wow. If she continues this positive happy attitude, my world would just turn upside down O:
