Aww sheesh cos I planned to stay up all the way till 12 am yesterday for the countdown! But in the end, thanks to the barely interesting "Marina Bay" one and the fact that I had to wake up at 8am that day for tuition, I decided to give in to my droopy eyelids.
At first I wanted to take a nap at 11.30pm! Then when I woke up, it was 8.30am the next day D:
Ahhh school tomorrow. And guess what, WE STILL HAVE TO PLAY FOR MORNING ASSEMBLY. When it's not even a Monday. Oh yeah, then Monday still have to play again D: It's the sec ones first time playing with us yay.

Hey! Today's New Year's Eve! Like last Wednesday was Christmas Eve, and now this Wednesday's New Year's Eve! Ho what a coincidence! :D Jiahui's coming back today too!
Section outing's prolly got to continue without us though. Cos THERE'S CCA ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. Like what happened to the "fun and relaxing" part of the first day of school huh? Oh yeah. That's for Sec Ones D:

WAHAHHAHHAH. Okay just came back from TKGS' Exchange Programme with the Naka-sth Girls School. Whoopsies :D Weren't as impressive as the Aichi Meiden one. Oh ho ho! I remembered the name! Cos they danced better heh (:
During sectionals, there was this cute little Japanese girl (prolly the SL) who taught us how they usually warmed-up during practices. So she did this impressive blowing with diaphragm thing, which really shocked me cos to me, she looked like some 12 or 11 year old. And she was pretty skinny so I was surprised by the amount of air she contained. No offense though O: SHE PLAYED THE PICCOLO SO LOUDLY EVEN LOUDER THAN THE US MARINE BAND FLAUTIST. Like when the whole Band was play ff, I still could hear the piccolo quite prominently. Not mainly cos it's high-pitched, but mainly cos of how shockingly loud she played. She's a soloist too. Wonder how she copes. Solo and piccolo at the same time! Gosh, the pressure! O:
Turns out she was 17 years old. Not the 12 I thought before. Seriously though, she even took out a hanky (or towel, Sanday claims) to wipe her face when she was sweating, thanks to Singapore's hot weather. A MINNIE MOUSE HANKY. Seventeen eh? Maybe communication problem O:
Then afterr the Exchange Prog, Yuqing, Vanessa, Belle and I went to take bus! It was my first time taking bus in Payar Lebar and hence, I was lost. Yuqing was lost too. So we lost together :D Hahahh. Ate at Parkway and took Payar Lebar MRT back!
Oh oh! While waiting for 262 (yes I took bus myself! Yay me! :D), some mother with daughter asked me for directions! Directions! Me! Hahaha! In the end, being a nice St Nicks person, I told her the stuff I knew about buses! Hahaha :D To St Nicks I mean. And everyone became happy in the end! Whoo! :D
School starts in three days.

Christmas was rather happy (: Besides the fact that some annoying dog kept barking until I had no choice but to wake up D: Ate lunch outside in Wheelock. Then after dinner, we watched Indiana Jones! My sister kept saying "BIG DAMN ANTS, BIG DAMN ANTS" for some reason. Heh :D
Oh oh! Class allocations are out! And I'm in 3 Faith! Not much of a diff though. 1 Faith, 2 Justice, then Faith and Faith again for the next two years. Sigh, I was looking forward to a different class name. Like maybe Dilligence? Hahah.
3 Faith means that I'll be in the same class as Hannah, Sandy, Ying Tong, Genevieve, Cheryl etc and other peeps I can't remember O: And and, best of all is I WON'T BE LAST IN THE CLASS ANYMORE! YESSSS! :D Thanks to Zhang Di and her wonderful surname! Yay all the Zhangs in the world! :D
Sheesh. Class allocations out means the holidays are coming to an end really really soon. Like maybe we have about 2 weeks of hols left? That's sad. Time flies when we're having fun. Or slacking. They're the same! :D

Factors to make it a 100% guaranteed "Bad Band Prac Day"
1) No seniors. 2) No pro flute players. 3) No Choo, Sum or Sam 4) Junior decided not to practice flute and pon Band till today = Plays real badly 5) 0 out of 4 flautists are in tune. 6) Some sight read notes/ Bluff their way through by playing any note 7) Ning's sleepy but still have to make it for Band 8) MY MARVELLOUS FLUTE HAD A RETARDED KEY.
Every condition was fulfilled yay. When Samantha and I used to tune in the middle of songs, we used to cringe whenever we were slightly out of tune etc. Ohmyholycow but today, YuQing had to change flute suddenly and she wasn't used to it so it was unbearably flat. Naomi and JieYing (yes she came at last) were so unbelievably "in tune" until I thought they were playing different notes when they tuned. Oh and since my flute couldn't play C#, and we had to play Jericho, and I was the only first flute, the "Battle of Jericho" part became Bb, B, _ _ D. And the whole Band was like wondering what's the matter with flutes? Fortunately, Mr Ong did not notice cos he was like "inside" the music or something. Since he said that he loved conducting that song D:And Danica had to go "Hey I think flutes are out of tune."
HECK YEAH.

The part where the innocent "tourists" were visiting the Volturi's underground sewers or sth WAS SO SADDENING. Demetri had to go "Save some for me." LIKE WHAT THE ORANGES. Feel the acid? It's citric.

Twilight yesterday!
I thought it was quite scary O: I didn't really like the ballet studio part. It kinda scared me. Heh :D
But all in all, I think it was a rather good movie cos IT MADE ME WANNA READ THE BOOK! Hahah, so I'm reading it now. Halfway through it, just hope I don't get as crazy as Ann Tan O:
I still can't believe Robert Pattison has been chosen to star as Edward! Make people go crazy over the wrong guy lah! :D The moment he came into the show, I was like, stunned. COS HE LOOKED LIKE HE JUST WOKE UP. :D The Edward in the book sounds so different from him!
That James guy creeps me out. He sniffs people eeew! Oh oh and there's an African guy with many pony tails! Hahhaah :D At first, on the poster, I thought he was a girl~ Hahah! :D

Okay so normally I don't really type in titles. But when I found out that Odomodo was trying to ruin my kind and charitable reputation, ACTION WAS NEEDED AND SOMEONE IN THE FAMILY HAS TO DO IT. (quotes Hari's thoughts ooh! :D)

Yay! After being whacked by goats and crushed by falling rocks out of nowhere (they just seem to follow you EVERYWHERE), I have finally made it! And I even beat that old man standing outside the cave at Mancala only after two games! :D
I did not use any cheats.

I GOT STUCK AT THE SCORPION PART OKAY! It kept poking me and made my character bounce back so many many times! I got impatient! :D
Nonetheless, I GOT THE MEDAL! :D
Didn't go for Band today. Missed out participating in "The Case of Sum's Missing School Flute". So sad. Ann told me couldn't find it in the end. Prolly cos the ace detective wasn't around yeah! :D
Tomorrow is TWILIGHT day! Can't believe I'm excited for this. Is Twilight really that good? Hmmm shall see tomorrow. I still think both the actors playing Edward and Bella aren't that good looking hahah! But still, so many peeps (mostly girls) in the world are going crazy over them! Peeps like MY SISTER.
She cuts out pictures of Twilight when it comes out in the newspaper. Oh and on Wednesday's, when Life was doing some cover interview for the Twilight actors, I came downstairs looking for Life (for the comics) and TO MY HORROR, I found the newspaper looking a little pathetic with bits of pieces here and there D:

Didn't go for Band Prac yesterday. I had such a sore throat. Thy throat was seriously SORE. Can't find any adjective for it. So when I woke up today (early early thanks to math tuition D:) I realised that...I HAD FLU AND PHLEGMISH THROAT TOO (okay I know don't really need to know but still.)
It was bad ): My voice totally changed and I thought I sounded like Danica when she has her sore throat hahah (no offence Danica! :D) Still, being such a dilligent daughter, I did not complain much and continued Math Tuition, and afterwards, CHINESE. Oh the horror! Well, only Lynette will understand the true impact of this hahahh :D
Straight after Band yesterday, lovely YuQing decided to call me and BOMB me with all wonderful "extra Band Prac on Saturdays from Feb and March onwards thanks to SYF, exchange programme, need to do posters for CCA Fair, come earlier on Thurs cos..." etc etc D: I don't even think I can make it for band tmrw again! Tsktsk. Then when I thought everything was said, she decided to bomb me with another one.

Hey okay yeah I've changed my skin! Finally.
As you can see some stuff are not ready yet. Like the intro part and "shooting star" part. The links too! There's something wrong with it!
But THE COLOUR IS NOT PURPOSELY ACCORDING TO MY PREFERENCE IT'S COS I'M NOT A BLOGGER EXPERT SO I'M WORKING ON IT.
It's in big fonts so if people are lazy to read to entire post, at least this will stand out! No hard feelings kae! But strangely, the ones in purple happen to include all of the flutes section! :D
I will continue tmrw maybe! Or the day after. I dunno I feel lazy these days hahaha. After-Holiday Blues probably! :D
Oh and I'm working on a title. Love is so not beyond my reach.

VJ Band is AWESOME! :D
They have superb tone quality and wonderful dynamics! Make me so jealous! :D And the way they tune! W O N D E R F U L ! All in tune one! The tubas start and every other section flows neatly into place. And the flutes sound so good! Like whispery whispery calming sounds! Marvellous! Bravo bravo! :D
THE SKIT WAS NICE TOO ESPECIALLY SINCE SAMANTHA WAS PART OF IT :D
But it was rather disappointing though. The only line she got was "help help!" and the only cool movement was the can can. Which was also quite disappointing cos I COULD ONLY SEE PART OF HER cos she was HIDING BEHIND SOMEONE.
So simple, and yet so effective!

Okayokay. Before te concert we went searching the entire Singapore for gifts! Really! See Samantha, must be grateful you have such nice friends! :D The sunflower was the most expensive. And pig cup and lunchbox and cute paperbag was nice too! HOPE YOU LIKED IT! :D After that, we went to eat dinner at PASTA MANIA! Long time since I went there. Missed it so much! :D But unfortunately, left with the taste of garlic in my mouth eeew D:
Sat on 36 bus-ed all the way to VJ! From Plaza Sing! That was really one of the longest bus rides I've ever been on. Not that I've been on many hahah. Since it was during the peak hour (I think), there were so so so many people in the bus. Like sardines! Exactly like sardines. So Choo, Sum, Jane and I joined the sardines :D THERE WAS THIS WEIRD INDIAN BUSINESS-MAN-LIKE GUY NEXT TO ME WHO KEPT BRUSHING HIS ARM AGAINST MINE WHEN THE BUS TURNED. Like EEEEWWWWW. Please lah. Lucky he was not that hairy. Gosh EEEEEEEEWWWWWW I don't wanna think about it!
Then he started talking about his life. His friend was like "what do you do during the weekends?" in this pro ang moh voice. "Oh normally I like to...but during this weekend, I slept haha!" Choo and I were thinking "WHAT A PIG". Then talked about his daughter learning Wushu. His friend didn't know what Wushu was so he explained that it was some type of "Shaolin Martial Art". Tried to supress more laughter.
Oh oh when they had nothing more to say, THE GUY STARTED HUMMING. AAhhhhhhhh! Goodness me! And when the bus swerved he was laughing and almost ENJOYING HIMSELF when I was like trying so hard not to fall!

"HEY I'M BACK!" (again hahah :D)
I have reached one conclusion and one conclusion only.
I LOVE KOREA ! ♥
That country in winter is like so wonderful! They have those pasar malam type of places so when we shop, we get to haggle, get fab deals, and eat along the way! So cool right! I just loooove that place! The toilets there are like ultra high tech cos when you open the door, you see so many buttons on the toilet bowl! Like one which helps you change the seat cover thing and spray nice fragrances when you bake some chocolate cake in there! WOW! :D
So unlike Changchun D:
In Changchun, the toilets are actually holes mostly without flushing systems and no toilet seat. When we were travelling in a mini-van for a 2hour long journey to some ski resort, we had a toilet break. My sister had a stomachache so she needed to use to toilet real badly. We went in.
1) It stank. 2) There were flies O: I dunno what they were doing there in the winter when it's frigging -22 degrees outside. I thought flies can't survive in such cold weather? 3) There wasn't any door for each cubicle. 4) Someone needed to bake cakes real badly.
