Ohmigosh it's all so quick! The moment I come home from Genting my mum's like "QUICK PACK OR DIE!" So irritating leh. Every time I'm doing something she'll be like "NING COME HERE NOW." And then I have to stop and go to her and see her frowning face. Then she gives me instructions that are so vague and confusing. I ask her again then she ignores me and carries stuff to the luggages. Oh, and WE EACH HAVE ONE MEDIUM SIZED LUGGAGE. "It's gonna be sooo cold in Korea okay, we really must be prepared!" D:

So here's what I'm gonna wear each day:

1) Undergarments
2) Short Sleeve Tee
3) Long Sleeve Tee
4) Sweater
5) Windbreaker

So that's why our luggages are like that. Like omg right! First Beijing, JiLin then Seoul. At least that's what I heard from my dad.

"2 days in Beijing, 2 days in Ji Lin and 3 days in Seoul." he says while packing his luggages.

"Huh, I thought we will be on holiday for 10 days? That's 7 days only what."

Silence. Cos he's ignoring me and packing his things with a dazed look on his face.

"Daddy..."

"Don't need to be so exact lah! About there can already!" he finally says.

I so hate being ignored. Oh and I'll be leaving on Sunday morning and back on 10 Dec. Which is a Tuesday? I don't know. We've got to reach the airport at 6.30am! Oh it's Genting all over again! But this time, it'll be snowing and I'll be wearing so much clothes until I look twice as big. O:

SNSB GOT A GOLD FOR THE 21ST CENTURY GENTING COMPETITION!

I still can't believe it! I thought we were gonna get a COP (certificate of participation) cos Ms Sia keeps on insisting that we would. It's funny cos whenever Ms Sia says we're gonna be last of the last, we get one of the top few positions. Hmmm. Oh and it's kinda weird cos I personally felt that the other bands were much much better than us. Oh and after the day of the competition, my section mates and I saw one of the judges and Ms Sia walking and chatting happily together. On the results day, it was announced that we got 80%, which was a Gold Award on the dot. Yuqing suggested bribery O:

Heheh :D Anyway, I'm so proud of the band luhhs! This is currently the second competition I went for and now we have two Gold Awards and counting! :D I hope SYF goes well in 2009. If Samantha, Jiahui or Laisum is reading this, PLEASE COME FOR SYF! Give SNSB all the support you can give! Hahahha:D

I shall post about the Genting trip another day complete with nice and happy pictures of Flute Section 2008! ♥

Oh and that reminds me. I owe Samantha, Jiahui and Laisum looong testimonies! I'M REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY GONNA MISS YOU ALL. Okay I'm gonna draft them out now and post it real soon for you all.

Oh gosh even thinking about it gives me those exciting vibes! :D Samantha and I have decided to gang up...against CHOO! Whoooo~ so cool right! We'll try to squeeze together in one bumper car (don't laugh okay) and if there is no space (prolly), then I can piggy back Samantha and together, we'll rule the bumper car world yay! Cos like Samantha can't reach the pedal without me (says her) and if we join forces (heh) then I hit Choo's car and Samantha can hit her head! :D

At first I thought she was saying how pro he plays the piano or something. So I said

"Huh? There's an RI guy who's shuai?"

"Yeah!!! (Note the three exclamation marks) And he plays the piiiiaaaanooooo!" (she says with this crazed look on her face)

I hope I don't get like that when I'm in Sec Three. Perhaps she worked too hard for Chinese O levels or something. School work can be very stressful! :O


Oh and Genting in two days! I SIMPLY CAN'T WAIT. But haven't started packing yet though. I just showered yay! :D

"I CAN'T WAIT TO GO FOR THE GENTING TRIP NEXT MONDAY !"

Mr Cher gave us the itinerary yesterday and gave us a rather long briefing. But thanks to the interesting checklist he gave us, I did not succumb to my sleepy eyes and instead I was getting much much more excited by the minute!

We get to have hours and hours of free time to shop, play, eat, and shop more! I can't wait man. I feel so privileged now :D There were surprisingly a few "important" stuff (workshops) and in contrast, many many fun and happy things! If we don't get into the Top 3, we get to spend more time in the Amusement Park yay! Hahahah :D And I just loove the free time lah. There's one day where it goes "Breakfast", "Free Time" then "Lunch" or something like that. SOFUN ! :D

That means, "eat, play, eat"! Yay! :D Oh yeah but my mum wants me to bring this HUGE camping/luggage bag where it is so big that it can prolly fit my clothes, 10 of Jiahui's electric jugs, many many cups of maggie noodles, and a hairdryer or so D: And it has wheels so it looks like a whale with roller blades D:

You know what, I think I'm gonna start packing now hahhhah :D :D Oh since my bag is so big, I can try to fit sum inside then we'll be going as a full Sec 2 flutes section! ♥

Oh and PSLE results released tomorrow at 12noon. I think I'm gonna go with my sister to give my mum moral support. Note: My mum, not my sis. :D

Today was the day of our Band Outing Trip to West Coast Park! :D


It started out rather well actually. Despite two things. The comm peeps had to reach school at SEVEN in the morning while the rest of the bandits could come at 8am.

Ahh actually that was okay. The other thing is that our friendly Mr Lim had to scold the Sec Ones for wearing slippers or flip flops (sounds so like market, she calls them that). So the BM and DM went to talk to her (so sorry i mean HIM). In the end she scolded them for wearing slippers too and asked the whole band to come and meet her outside her office to get a scolding.

So yeah. That just practically wiped out the nice and enthu mood out of everyone. She was being irritating and annoying and just so unreasonable as usual, saying that we should cancel our outing since no one takes the school seriously and by wearing slippers to school, it signifies that you don't care about St Nicks and all that chillicrap.

So she waited for Mr Cher to come and discuss things with her and the BM and DM for not setting a good example to us and that competition was coming blah blah blah.

Hahahh but I thought it looked like Mr Cher was a little scared of Susie. I dunno I just felt that way :D

So in the end, he decided that we are NOT ALLOWED to wear slippers for camps. "Must have sandals with straps" he says (i quote). GOSH. Then when questioned about how we shower, he asked us to bring slippers just specially for that. So bring sandals, slippers and school shoes for camps now? That totally spells out u n r e a s o n a b l e.

Sigh. Why don't just make everyone happy for once and go live in the old folks home where you belong.

Yay our class won the "Survival Game" Su Laoshi created. And we get to spend one entire day as a class in "Changi Aloha Resort"! Yay us :D

But the sad thing is...I DON'T GET TO GO ANYWAY. Cos the day he booked for us will be on next Thurs. And on next Thurs, it'll be our last and final combine prac before the dreaded Genting competition. And after Ms Sia's scolding, I don't think I wanna pon it or anything cos that will make me so dmn guilty.

When life gives you lemons, you try to make lemon juice with them and then you realise that you've no strength to squeeze them and when it finally decides to squeeze, the juice squirts into your eye and you get blinded cos of too much acid.

Sigh life's so sad right.




OH YES. And Su Laoshi is resigning from St Nicks! :D He did that so as to "follow his dreams" (quote him) and "to work in the MOE Headquarters". What an inspiring dream!
He said that he would be leaving us for good (i think, well I thought so) then he started this interesting speech which included a whole set of alliterations, attempts at making us laugh and not to forget his home-made specialty of "fasten your progress..."s etc. I guess he really wanted to make a good impression on us all before leaving!

So only Mrs Elaine Lim will be left. Which is so good. Ahh we'll miss you so much Su Laoshi!

Omg I seriously think I'm becoming a pig. Really :O

My sister's friends came today and they stayed for dinner. So my good ol' mum went to order:

1) 16 piece KFC chicken
2) 2 boxes of Popcorn Chicken
3) 2 boxes of mashed potato
4) 2 boxes of coleslaw
5) 2 pizzas (Size: Extra Large)
6) And 2 boxes of weird chicken thing. I dunno. But tasted nice :D


Like W O A H! Amazing Grace right!

There were only 3 extra peeps eating so 8 people eating altogether. And my sister's friends had such teensy weensy itsy bitsy appetites. So small that they only ate 2 pieces of chicken each. And turns out that they hated coleslaw and don't really fancy pizza.

I don't know what to say.

Yeah and when I said "Hey Bev why you eat so little" to my sister, she took one more piece of chicken and said "Oh I'm very full already". Then after drinking her Sarsi, she says "Oh I'm very very full already."

I don't know what to say again.

So it was up to my mum, my other sis, and me to eat the rest. We stuffed ourselves as much as we could and washing down everything with Sarsi (which made me feel like a pig). Then my mum was like "Hey since we cannot finish, why don't we keep the pizza for breakfast tomorrow? And the extra pieces of chicken for lunch?"

I don't know what to say again again.

Tsk. And my mum conveniently reminded me that if you were to eat fast food and drink coke or any carbonated drinks, the carbon dioxide or sth will solidify the fats in the fast food so that you'll have solidified mini blobs of fats floating about in the arteries, capillaries and veins.


In other words,

MY ENTIRE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM WILL BE CIRCULATING BITS OF FATS!

Swearing in today was so INFORMAL. What happened to the "falling in" and "drills" part of the entire thing? No more formality man! It has disappeared!

When we assembled in the Forum, the Sec Ones were already sitting there. The Band Major and Drum Major intro-ed and called out their names one by one. Then the Sec Ones just simply got up and take some piece of paper and shook Mr Cher's hand. Some even dashed away and we didn't even get to take a proper picture of our junior! So sad right!

Tsktsk. Ah wells. I hoped our juniors loved the gifts! Yay baby! :D

Sec Ones swearing in tomorrow. SO EXCITING! I remember the time it was our turn. I SCREWED THE WHOLE THING UP. Oh I can't wait to see them now! :D

Sec Fours will be coming! The sick Ann will be too! The only one not here will be sum. So sad lah! :(

Woke up at 5am today just to go to the Floating Market and Rose Garden. We had to drive through thousands of highways and it took 3 hours just to get to one place.

The Floating Market was not crowded unlike the last time. COS IT'S A WEEKDAY! :O And there wasn't much food around. Sigh. What a disappointment! :D

And the Rose Garden was even more disappointing. THERE WASN'T A SINGLE PERSON IN SIGHT. Seriously. Except for the cleaners and stuff. But why clean when there isn't anyone around? Oh yeah the cleaners can earn quick bucks like that then :D

When we drove back, I slept. Then when I woke, I discovered that it was raining heavily, we were stuck in a traffic jam, my dad had to rush somewhere, and I desperately had to pee. But there weren't any toilets or restaurants or hotels around cos we were still on the highway. Thus, I had to REN! :O

Yeah but in the end we got back in time and I got to pee! Yay! :D

And now I'm really tired. Slept at 11pm last night. I feel hungry tooo :(

Omg, went to eat and shop and eat again! They sell stuff at such low and attractive prices! I bought souvenirs for peeps yay! So fun lah, I just realised that I've been cheated in Spore. All the stuff in Spore are all imported from Bangkok and they raise their prices up so much! In Thailand, you can buy like 6 sharpeners for 50 cents or something! :O But who wants sharpeners when you can buy MECHANICAL PENCILS OOOOH!


And I found a farmer game! :D :D
